.VOTING, a new TLD delegated in January see our post of 5 February last, opens its Sunrise phase on 15 April 2014 and ends on 16 May 2014.
This is a Start Date Sunrise, meaning that it is a first come, first served type of Sunrise, where registrations are actually processed and domains allocated while the sunrise period is still running.
For its Registry Management, the objective of the top-level domain .voting is to create and maintain a namespace that ensures the Internet users sustainable confidence as regards voting, surveys, ratings and discussions. Accordingly, each domain holder is obligated to ensure that the contents published under the .voting domain primarily contain votes, surveys, ratings and/or discussions.
Moreover, the .voting Registry is the proprietor of the CTM word mark ".voting”. For the duration of the domain registration, the Registry grants the user of a .voting domain a right of use to this word mark.
