The new gTLD extension .ART has arrived.

Its Sunrise period runs until 7 February 2017 for marks registered at the TMCH.

The preferred access period will run from 8th to 9th May 2017. It is defined as "an exclusive token-based limited registration period" for businesses, organisations and individuals from the global arts world". In other words during this period, arts related not-for-profit organizations, as well as museums, art institutions, galleries, artists and “established member of the art world” will be able to register .ART domains.

GA (General Availability) from 10th May 2017: .ART domains will then be globally available to those with an interest in arts and culture.

To register a “dot ART” domain name during the limited availability period, you can contact IP Twins or directly go to the website and open an account. We, as well as the .ART official website will ask for personal information as well as proof of your connection to the art world.

Leading art institutions such as the Art Institute of Chicago, Centre Pompidou, Fondation Beyeler, Fondation Cartier, Guggenheim Museum, or the Tate and Walker Art Center are already using .ART domains.
